Vietnamese sporting delegation heads to SEA Games

A ceremony was held in Hanoi on November 29 to send off a Vietnamese sporting delegation on their way to the 25th SEA Games in Laos.

Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Danh Thai handed over the flag to the Vietnamese sports delegation, which will go with the delegation to Laos.

Wrestler Man Ba Xuan took an oath on behalf of the delegation.

A sponsor presented sports clothes to Vietnamese sportsmen.

Players of the women’s national football squad received VND50 million dong from a sponsor.

This year Vietnam aims to win from 65-70 gold medals, entering the top three.
