Women’s success earns bonus

| LookAtVietnam – The Global Audiovisual Joint stock Company on Wednesday presented US$208,000 to the national women’s football team.
The team beat Thailand 3-0 after a penalty shoot-out in the final match. Last month, the company also offered the men’s team an extra bonus of $100,000 if they won the gold medal. However, they failed and the bonus was given over to the women. The women will take part in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Championship in China on May 19-30 in Group B against Australia, host China and South Korea. VietNamNet/Viet Nam News |
