Chinese coach Wang A Nan will lead HCM City women’s football team this year, according to the Deputy Chairman of the HCM City Football Federation, Mai Ba Hung.

The Chinese coach observed a number of the team’s matches at the city’s open football tournament, which concluded on January 27.

During the past few years, the HCM City women’s football team has won the national championship several times, however, the team has not yet ranked among the top three women’s squads.

Under Wang A Nan’s coaching, the team is expected to do better in national and regional competitions.
