Nguyen Tien Minh, Vietnam’s number-one badminton player, has made a comeback to the Badminton World Federation’s list of the world’s top ten players.

The step forward was attributed to Minh’s efforts to enter the quarterfinals of the Korea Open Championship which started on January 12.

It is expected that Minh will continue to go up in the Badminton World Federation’s next ranking as he has enters the semifinals of the recent Malaysia Open 2010.

This year, Minh will participate in some 15 international competitions held by the Badminton World Federation, including eight in the Super Series. In November, he will compete at the Asian Games 2010.
