After two consecutive losing matches at V-League 2010, Cong Minh has had to return to his assistant position when Dong Tam Club on March 22 recruited another Portuguese coach.

Dong Tam club’s managing director Pham Phu Hoa revealed that the club has invited Ricardo Formosinho, 54, to guide the team from now to the end of V-League 2010. Formosinho goes to Dong Tam at the recommendation of the national team’s coach, Henrique Calisto, who was also a coach of Dong Tam.

After six matches at V-League, Dong Tam has changed its chief coach three times. Four matches ago, Portuguese coach Jose Luis said goodbye to the team because of health problems. Assistant Cong Minh temporarily replaced Luis. He had two good matches and two losses.

By signing a contract with Formosinho, Dong Tam has now had three coaches from Portugal, including Luis and Calisto.

Formosinho played for the Portuguese U19 and U21 squads. He worked as an assistant for the famous coach Mourinho at Porto club in 2004. He has a professional coach certificate granted by the UEFA and has led some clubs in Portugual.

Formosinho’s first match at V-League is next Sunday.
