The Vice President has signed a decision to present the Labour Order to the national football squad and some individuals who contributed to Vietnam’s AFF Cup 2008 championship.

The victory at the AFF Cup 2008 is the most outstanding achievement in Vietnam’s football history. For the first time, Vietnam defeated Thailand and Singapore to win this cup.

This victory was greatly contributed by Portuguese coach Henrique Calisto and some players like goalkeeper Duong Hong Son, striker Le Cong Vinh, midfielders Vu Nhu Thanh, Le Tan Tai, Phan Van Tai Em and captain Nguyen Minh Phuong.

Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan signed decision to present the third-class Labour Order to the whole team, to coach Calisto and the six above players.
