Just one day after Mai Duc Chung left Binh Dung club, Hai Phong football club invited him to be their technical director. The coach has accepted their offer.

Chung told Tuoi Tre newspaper that he would work for Hai Phong until the end of V-League 2010 as its technical director. “I don’t want to break anyone’s rice pot. I’ll tell Mr. Vuong Tien Dung (Hai Phong’s current coach),” Chung commented.

Hai Phong promised to pay Chung a higher salary than Binh Duong. According to the coach, his salary at Binh Duong was 40 million dong a month. He refused to disclose his new wage, but stated that the new contract will be signed after the 9^th round of V-League (next week).

He also noted that Hai Phong intends to enter the top three of V-League and he agreed with that goal.

Vietnam Football Federation has invited him to lead the national women’s team, but he has yet to respond.
