Quang Huy Mobile defeated Maceco 3-2 in penalty shoot-outs in HCM City to win a bid to the final round of the Budweiser International Cup 6v6 in South Africa this summer.

“I’m very happy with this result. We participated in this tournament with the hope of going to South Africa to watch some matches of the World Cup. Our hope has become reality today,” commented Coach Huu Dang.

Of the 8 teams entering the final round on April 4, Quang Huy Mobile is one of two teams from Khanh Hoa.

The team will go to South Africa’s Pretoria to compete with rivals from the US, Brazil, Canada, Germany, China, Argentina, Abu Dhabi, Chile and the host country on July 1. The team will also watch two matches of the FIFA World Cup 2010.

This is the second Budweiser International Cup 6v6 in Vietnam. Last year Horrison represented Vietnam to join the final round in the UK and ranked second.
