National woman’s team halfback falls from third floor

The accident occurred in the late afternoon of May 3, after the team’s drilling. Kim Tien lost her footing and fell from the third floor while she was hanging washing. She landed on her face and chest hit from the height of 6m. She was unconscious for three hours.
Doctors at Hanoi’s Vietnam-Germany hospital quickyl made scans and reported no evidence of brain or spinal injury. Her face and body are scraped and bruised but the injuries are not serious. The doctors insisted that Kim Tien be kept under close observation,but that if there is no complication, she will recover within one week.
Kim Tien is the key halfback of the on Hanoi Trang An 1 club. She has been a member of the national squad for several years. She scored the decisive goal for the national team’s final match at the Southeast Asian Games 2009.
The women’s football squad is not grouped up in Hanoi to prepare for the Asian Championship in China from May 19-30. The team will go to China on May 7 where Vietnam will face Australia, China and South Korea.
