After two consecutive losing games, Binh Duong football club on July 16 replaced Coach Dang Tran Chinh with Duong Ngoc Hung.

The club’s executive manager Doan Van Ut maintained that Chinh was dismissed because of three recent bad games. “From the top position at V-League 2010, after three matches led by Chinh, Binh Duong earned only one point and lost the first position to T&T Hanoi. We must replace Chinh with another director to secure our position.”

Binh Duong has signed a contract with former Binh Duong coach Dinh Duong Ngoc Hung from now to the end of V-League 2010.

This club has dismissed two coaches in the 2010 football season. Chinh replaced Mai Duc Chung when the team ranked fourth. Chinh took Binh Duong to the top position at V-League before World Cup 2010 began.

After three poor showings, however, Chinh was fired and could not hold his position with Binh Duong for six matches like Mai Duc Chung did.

It is rumored that relations between Chinh and Vietnamese-American striker Lee Nguyen were not good, but Chinh denied the information. He claimed that Binh Duong lacked good results recently because of players’ poor performance.
