Vietnamese chess masters won three gold and one silver medals at the 2010 Asian Chess Championships, which concluded in Beijing July 14.

The gold medalists were Nguyen Anh Khoi in the boy’s U8 event, Vu Thi Dieu Ai in the girl’s U12 event and Nguyen Thi Mai Huong in the girl’s U16 event.

The bronze medal went to Hoang Thi Nhu Y in the girl’s U18 event.

This year’s competition attracted 428 chess masters from 20 countries and territories around the world.
