Located in HCM City’s center in District 1, Pham Van Mach’s bodybuilding club is equipped with many modern devices. People have to pay up to 400,000 dong ($20) to exercise here.

He also opened a bodybuilding club in his hometown in the southern province of An Giang.

Mach’s club is also the home for the national bodybuilding team. He still practices every morning.

Mach has won the Asian gold medal for the 55kg category for five consecutive years.

He won the world gold medal in 2001. However, he took only an Asian silver medal this August.

Four years after saying farewell to his career, Ly Duc, at the age of 45, still has an ideal figure.

Ly Duc was named “The Giant” of Vietnam sports.

He won six Asian gold medals for the 80kg category.
