The group owns several luxury properties including the Sea Links Golf&Country Club and the 5-star Sea Links Beach Hotel.

During his six-week stay until October 6, 39-year-old Saltus will promote Mui Ne, Phan Thiet, as a leading golf destination in Viet Nam.

He will also conduct a “Golf is for everyone” training couse for local school children, businessmen and resort staff.

The training programme will place at the newly-built Sea Links Golf&Country Club, Viet Nam’s premier golf course on the coast.

This par-72, 18-hole golf course in Mui Ne, which enjoys warm and sunny weather all year round, aims to become the most challenging links-style course in Asia.

Saltus’s visit will conclude with the inaugural edition of the ‘Bryan Saltus Golf Classic Tournament’ on 24-25 September 2010, which will commemorate the millenial anniversary celebrations of the nation’s capital.

Saltus, who turned pro in 1996, has rubbed shoulders with some of the world’s best players including Masters Champion and Ryder Cup Players Fred Couples, leading tour player Angle Cabrerra and Curtis Strange, who own five majors between them.

Nguyen Van Dong, Chairman and CEO of Rang Dong Group, said the attractiveness of the golf courses played an important role in the increase of tourist arrivals in Viet Nam in the last few years.
