The two athletes were involved in a match-fixing scandal at the 2009 Southeast Asian Games.

Last month, VFF asked FIFA to repeal its suspension of Van Quyen and Van Truong so they can participate in the upcoming Thang Long International and the AFF Cup tournaments in late 2010.

The both players completed their national suspension penalty in January 2009 and returned to their V-League clubs.

The Thang Long-Hanoi Cup matches will be played among the North Korea and Vietnam national teams and the U-23 squads from Kuwait and Australia from September 20-24 in Hanoi.
