Group A: host Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and the top team of the qualifier round

Group B: host Vietnam, Singapore, Myanmar and the second team of the qualifier round

The two top teams of each group will enter the semi-final.

Vietnam and Thailand, the two strongest teams in the region, may be face to face in the semi-final.

This year Vietnam and Indonesia will co-host AFF Cup finale from December 1 to 29. The qualifier round will be held in Laos from October 22 to 30 for Cambodia, Laos, the Philippines and East Timor. The two top teams will enter the finals.

All matches will be broadcast on famous sports channels like ESPN, Star Sports and many regional channels.

The champion will receive $100,000, the second team with $50,000 and the third teams with $15,000 each.
