poorly children in the National Hospital of Paediatrics, Ha Noi Heart Hospital
and Heart Beat Vietnam.

was formerly known as the Terry Fox Run is an annual activity organised by the

* Calisto lets
injured Vinh leave national team

National coach
Henrique Calisto has allowed Le Cong Vinh to return to his club, Ha Noi T&T,
acknowledging there is no chance of him recovering for an injury in time for the
Southeast Asian Football Cup next month.

Calisto held a 15
minute meeting with Vinh after listening to advice from team doctors before
making his decision.

Vinh is recovering
from leg surgery he received in Portugal five months ago. According to doctors
and his personal fitness coach, Vinh should not play again until late December
but Calisto selected him anyway in the hope that with some light training, he
would be fit enough to help Viet Nam defend their title.

Calisto is also
waiting for news on striker Nguyen Viet Thang who sustained a leg injury during
an Asian Games match earlier this month.

If Thang is ruled out,
the Portuguese coach will have to rely up front on young forward Quang Hai, and
midfielders Tan Tai, Minh Phuong and Vu Phong.
