Thai tennis players Ekkarin Pisuth Arnonth and Kotcha Nattawadee respectively won the men’s and women’s singles titles at the 10th Annual Phu My Hung Cup in Ho Chi Minh City on Saturday.

Arnonth beat Quang Huy of Vietnam’s Tanimex team 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 while Nattawadee defeated Tam Hao of Tanimex in straight sets in the finals.

After losing the first set, the underdog, Quang Huy, fought back and beat Arnonth in the second; but Arnonth’s experience and skills proved superior in the deciding match.

In the women’s event, Tam Hao was not strong enough in the clash with the Thai player Nattawadee. The Vietnamese woman could only win a total of seven games.
