A Top National Archery Tournament is scheduled to kick off at Ha Noi’s National Sports Centre tomorrow, June 22, according to the event’s organising board.

The six-day event will attract the participation of more than 80 archers from eight teams nationwide including Hai Phong, the Army, Bac Can, Phu Tho, Ha Noi, Hung Yen, Vinh Long and HCM City.

Archers will compete in both compound (three-stringed bow) and recurve (one-stringed bow) events.

Hosts Ha Noi triumphed at last year’s event, winning 14 gold, 10 silver and 9 bronze medals, followed by Hai Phong and Phu Tho.
