A kissing competition will be held at 2 pm, February 13 in the northern port city of Hai Phong on the occasion of the Valentine Day.

With the slogan “There is no everlasting love, only everlasting moments of love” and for the purpose of making a meaningful Valentine’s Day, the competition is a chance for young people to express their affection to their significant others and to enjoy romantic and humorous moments together.

Over 100 couples have registered for the competition. However, only 100 will be selected for the contest. Contestants must be at least 18 years old, married or not.

The competition will take place at the yard of the Viet Tiep Cultural Palace in Hai Phong city. Couples will be arranged at certain places and they have to kiss each other in a compulsory position (only one of them is allowed to stand to kiss).

The couple who can kiss each other for the longest time will be the winners.

This is the largest kissing competition in Vietnam.
