VietNamNet Bridge – Google has added Vietnamese to the list of languages which can be automatically translated by Google Translate.

Google Translate helps Internet users to translate some languages into Vietnamese and vice versa. Users can use Google Translate to translate a sentence, a paragraph or a whole website automatically.

Some tests show that Google Translate translates Vietnamese into English very foolishly. For example, a very simple sentence “Hom nay troi dep qua” is translated into “It’s beautiful today too”. A more accurate translation would be “The weather is very fine today”.

Though this service is in an early stage, the appearance of Vietnamese in Google Translate is very meaningful.

Besides Vietnamese, Google Translate has also added 11 other languages this time.
