VietNamNet Bridge – The website of Bach Khoa Internet Security Centre (BKIS), the leading Internet security centre in Vietnam, was hacked on October 5.

The website has been operating normally since this morning.

According to Vietnam Security Forum, the attack on www.bkav.com.vn began at 7 am, October 5 and had the scale of 3,000-5,000 botnet. The website was still inaccessible at 6.39 pm the same day.

The hack was called formidable as BKIS is considered the leading Internet security centre in Vietnam. BKIS is the author of the well-known anti-virus programme BKAV, which has been used by millions of clients throughout the country.
