VietNamNet Bridge – Police on November 15 closed a websex site (mocxxx.com) monitored by 13 Vietnamese nationals and which had nearly 300,000 members.

Masters of this website in HCM City, Hanoi and Ca Mau were arrested pending investigation, including the chief master, a young man in HCM City.

According to police, this man recently graduated from a university in HCM City. He developed this website and recruited some others to set up a “management board” for the site.

This website was organised with six forums. From the day it was launched, the website received millions of entries with pornographic contents. This website was also a place for members to exchange information about prostitutes.

Police said that each day this site had around 30,000 visitors and most of them were Vietnamese.

The case is still being investigated by the HCM City police and the Ministry of Public Security.
