VietNamNet Bridge – The gateways to development will provide information about development issues, hunger eradication and poverty alleviation, and advertise Vietnam to the world, said Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Minh Hong spoke at the forum.

Speaking at a forum entitled “Gateways to development: cooperation and future for Asia-Pacific countries” held in Hanoi from December 1-5, Hong said the gateways will effectively support Vietnam’s integration and improve living quality.

The gateways to the development of Vietnam include the gateway for the disabled, distance training gateway, job service gateway, auction gateway, and others.

The forum focuses on the application and development of IT to serve development in countries that have gateways to development belonging to the global gateways to development and experience in developing IT applications to serve the community.

It is also a place where attendants will share experience in implementation of IT projects and is a chance for Vietnam to introduce its IT policy and achievements in applying IT to serve the community.
