VietNamNet Bridge – A three-day international workshop on Vietnamese studies to be held at the National Convention Centre in Hanoi from December 5-7 will gather 513 scholars, including 174 researchers from 23 countries.

With the topic “Vietnam: integration and development”, scholars will be divided into 18 groups to discuss various issues about Vietnam (Vietnamese history, culture, laws, economics, education, language, etc.), besides two plenary sessions, the opening and closing.

Researchers will consider Vietnam’s current integration, conditions for the country to quickly integrate into the world economy as well as challenges for Vietnam during the integration process.

Participants will also exchange experiences in integration and forecast Vietnam’s integration process in the next decade.

Professor Vu Minh Giang, Deputy Director of Hanoi National University, said the workshop will help international friends understand more about Vietnam’s open policy and Vietnamese people’s esteem for Vietnamese studies.

Giang said Vietnamese studies scholars are the ones who can advertise the images of Vietnam most effectively.
