VietNamNet Bridge – Viettel Telecom and Alcatel-Lucent and Research In Motion (RIM) have introduced Pushmail Blackberry email service and BlackBerry smartphone in Vietnam.

Viettel introduced three BlackBerry models on December 18.

Any Viettel subscriber who uses a BlackBerry® cell phone and Pushmail Blackberry service can send and receive emails, make phone calls, surf the Internet, send and receive SMS and use other services anywhere within Viettel’s network coverage.

On December 18, Viettel introduced three models of BlackBerry smartphones in three cities of Vietnam, Hanoi, Da Nang and HCM City, and BlackBerry mail service.

Charges for Pushmail BlackBerry service: 1/ BlackBerry Internet Service – BIS1 package: VND450,000/month + data transmission charges of VND5/kb; 2/ BIS2 package: VND550,000/month, no data transmission charges.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server: installation fees dependent on the variety of equipment – BES1 package: VND600,000/month + data transmission charges of VND5/kb; BES2: VND700,000/month, no data transmission charges.
