Two years ago, the mother of this child began labor at a hospital in the southern province of Bac Lieu. When the baby’s head exposed, it was stuck at the scruff . At that time, doctors thought that was the second head of a twin. But it turned out a growth which was as big as the head of the newborn child.

As his family is too poor, the child named Thach Dinh had to live with the growth for two years, which developed quickly and as 1.5 times bigger than the child’s head.

The child came to the Children’s Hospital No.1 on January 7 as his growth was bleeding. On January 15, doctors conducted an operation to cut off the growth. The surgery took place successfully.

According to doctors, this kind of growth often appears during the pregnancy and scientists don’t know why it appears yet.
