Worried about obstructed telecom services during the lunar New Year (Tet), the Ministry of Information and Communications (MIC) has asked mobile networks to not launch promotional campaigns if they don’t have means to ensure good service quality at Tet.

In an urgent instruction, the ministry requested that telecom companies encourage clients to use fixed phone services during Tet to avoid obstruction.

The ministry told postal, telecom, Internet and express delivery service providers to consolidate their facilities and take measures to ensure the 24/7 operation of their network.

Postal service providers are asked to early announce their working schedule during Tet.
