Finding solutions to save energy has become an urgent task for many factories in HCM City. Many programs will be held to help them deal with this issue.

To enhance their competitiveness, many companies are seeking solutions to save energy.

On February 12, a workshop on saving energy in industry will take place at the HCM City-based Tan Tao Industrial Zone. The event is co-organized by the HCM City Department of Industry and Trade, the HCM City Industrial and Export Processing Zone Management Board, the HCM City Energy Saving Centre, and the HCM City Power Company.

Around 150 companies located in three big industrial zones in HCM City, Tan Tao, Le Minh Xuan and Vinh Loc, will take part in the workshop to know about energy-saving solutions, Vietnam’s policies on energy savings, programs to help producers to save energy, consulting projects, and introduction of energy-saving equipment and machinery.

Similar workshops will be organized at the remaining industrial and export processing zones in HCM City to help businesses in the city have access to energy-saving consulting and assistance projects of Vietnamese and international organizations, said the HCM City Industrial and Export Processing Management Board (HEPZA).
