Software calculating losses from earthquakes for HCM City

Dr. Phuong said he and his coworkers chose HCM City for research because to date, the city has just zoned areas prone to earthquakes, not calculated potential losses caused by earthquakes.
The software, named ArcView GIS, can reproduce and calculate human and material losses caused by earthquakes in HCM City by inputting data.
Dr. Phuong suggested that HCM City should re-research this issue every two years and implement a programme to manage risks and mitigate losses caused by earthquakes.
