Fifteen top student-contestants from a contest on environmental solutions called “Looking to a green planet – The community needs your help” were presented the “Bayer 2009 Environmental Ambassador” title on August 5.

The contest’s organising board also announced that two outstanding ambassadors will take part in an environmental survey in Berlin, Germany, with Bayer ambassadors from 18 other countries in November.

The two students are Le Thai Son from the HCM City Foreign Trade University and Le Mai Hoa from the Hanoi University of Technology.

The environmental survey in Germany will enable young people to learn about the theories and deployment of environmental protection strategies in Germany and create a network among the students from the 19 countries. After this trip, the two Bayer ambassadors can help raise community awareness on sustainable development in Vietnam.

After four years, the environmental contest sponsored by Bayer Vietnam has presented the Bayer Environmental Ambassador to 70 students.
