Bkis Internet Security Company has warned of virus contamination to computers via spam emails that are misusing express mail service providers id’s like DHL and Post Express, since April.

Dan Tri Newspaper has reported that at least 7,500 computers have been affected with this virus to date.

All the spam emails have the same content ‘The parcel was sent your home address. And it will arrive within three business day. More information and the tracking number are attached in document below.’

According to experts at Bkis, when the spam mail is activated, hidden codes under the icons in doc or pdf files trigger the virus to send more spam emails to other computers.

Bkis has advised people to choose file extensions and install copyrighted antivirus software to prevent this virus from spreading in their computers.

The company has also reported that hackers have broken into at least 182 websites of organizations and businesses in Vietnam since April.

Out of these, six cases were caused by domestic hackers and 176 cases by those located outside the country.

Within a month, the company also uncovered 3,324 new types of viruses in Vietnam that have spread to nearly six million computers.

The most widely spread virus was the W32.AutorunUSB.Worm, which has invaded 310,000 computers.
